This figurine was my first big premium figure. I bought her back in March of 2024 for $280, and I don't regret it one bit. I love this figure, she has an impectable paint job and beautiful sculpt. The movement in this still figure is insane and I absolute adore this figurine's facial expresion too. Usually the base of a figure is quite boring but her's is this awesome broken city debris in the red ocean. It connects with a metal peg to her foot and she is quite sturdy on it. My only complaint with is her scythe, it likes to fall off the base it attaches to and having to balance it in her hand while fighting the scythe's base is a bitch. The scythe itself looks fine and has a perfect pain job.
THE SECOND! I had learned about the Radio Eva figs I was obsessed with them... I was SOOOOO excited when I found this Asuka at $190 instead of the usual $280. OF COURSE I BOUGHT HER AT THAT PRICE, especial since it was my birthday.... SHE IS INSANELY DETAILED, the way the clothes are textured and look like real fabric is insane. I love the pose that allows the fabric to be all flow-ey and folded. The zippers, fingernails, inner jacket lining, minor details on the shoes, and the clips on her hat are all painted. The movement in the hair is some of the best I've seen on any of my figures, it really looks like its blowing in the wind as she walks. Not a single detail was missed on this figure and I'm soooo happy to have her.
THIS FIGURE IS STUNNING!!! I had been looking at it for months til I found it for cheap on amazon, worried that it'd be a fake and it WASN'T. Only ended up paying about $70 for her when she retails closer to $200!!!! I have the pearlescent finish version which makers her plugsuit stand out amongst my other figures. She's super shiny and glitterly and her lance is MASSIVE, making her stand out even MORE. All of the little details of her plugsuit are painted I.E. her zipper and black square above the knee bits which normally aren't painted on cheaper Reis. The details and finish made this figure a MUST HAVE for me and I'm thankful I had a job to buy her when I did.
This Asuka figure was actually my first ever anime figure, I got her December of 2022, as a Christmas gift to myself. I acquired the Mari figure in May of 2023, and she was like? my four figure ever. These guys are a matching set and I like how you can kinda slot their bases together when you display them, plus just how the bases are designed in the hexagonal pattern. They aren't perfect figures and I dislike the hair blowing effect they have, but I do enjoy having figure posed in the plugsuit activation position. I also accidently cracked the hand of Asuka when I first got her, cuz she fell off the shelf, but its not noticable in the photos.
This Kaworu was my second ever anime figure and I was sooooo excited to get him when I ordered him online. He was like, $45 and I got him in spring of 2023. The silver and light purple bits are all glittering and I really love the paint job on him. I didn't expect him to be so detailed, as my Sega figures cost the same price and have shittier quality. His posing is simple but nice, and he doesn't take up alot of space on a shelf, which is awesome as a collector. He has chipped paint on his right hand from getting knocked off the shelf by my cat, which fucking SUCKS but is not the fault of the maker. He is a pain in the ass to clean, and at somepoint, maybe during my move, he got this weird gunk in the spikes of his hair and I still haven't found a way to clean it, which is my only real complaint with this figure.
This is my first and only Cowboy Bebop figure. He was cheap at $30 and is a brand of figure I've been meaning to check out, since I've been wanting something from Good Smile for awhile but I didn't like their eva figures. The quality on this figure is nice and Spike's uncomplicated design makes him havve no missing details which is even better. I don't particularly like when they mold the details but don't paint them on figures. I don't have much to say about him he's a solid great figure.
This was my first figure in this Sega SPM series and also my first Rei figure. Her hair is a shade darker than the usual Rei figures I have and the paint job on one of her arms is a bit messed up. I am not a big fan of the sexual posing on this figure and she has to be sticky tacked to the rock to stay in place. I do however really like the posing of her hands on her knee, its very delicate. Overall she looks nice on my shelf next to my Asuka (hashtag lesbains) and I enjoy her usual and movie accurate nonchalant facial expression.
AHHHH this Asuka figure is the best Sega SPM figure I have, quality wise. Very few fucked up painting details and no fucked up plastic. SOOOOO AWESOME. I really adore the posing and dynamic-ness of this fig too. The hair flowing is nice and just the alpha maxing pose of authority she is doing is super nice on my shelf. She was the second figure I acquired in this line and I don't have much too say about her other than she's awesome. Also compared to my other eva figures she has more realistic waist and general body proportions and I really do love that in a figure, when they look a bit more human and not so stick thin, in this fig she's the same body type I have lmao.
This is my third Sega SPM figure, and the final one in this set. I only really got her to complete my set and her quality was not the best for what I paid at the store (roughly $45). She had a piece of plastic on her collar bone not properly set and a fair few paint job issues akin to my Sega SPM Rei. I do like her posing and she fits really nicely on my shelf without blocking out the figures behind her. Her hair is very cute here as well and unlike my knock off bandai mini figure her glasses are actually normal. Overall she's an okay figure. Just not my favorite.
Both of these figures are from 2005!!!! And are the oldest ones in my collection. When I bought them they were also in an unopened box!!! They are a little stupid looking and Rei's outfit is atrocious but I love them. Rei also has two left feet and both Rei and Asuka have a pearlescent sheen on their tops. I really like the hair shading on these figures which makes them look like they came out of the show almost. I bought these guys together for about $67 after shipping, and I mainly wanted the Asuka cuz her outfit is cute and I always want more Eva figures of them OUT of the plugsuit. I really do adore these derpy figs.
AHHH THIS IS ONE OF MY FAV CHEAP ASUKA FIGS. SHE'S JUST SO CUTE HERE!!! The sitting pose is adorable and its nice to have a figure of Asuka in her original plugsuit, which is harder for me to find than her other plugsuits from the movies. I like having sitting figures like this Asuka and my Sega SPM Mari.Allows me to use the space behind them without having to get a book or something to put them on. The paint job on this is amazing for just the $30 I paid for, and I was soooo excited to see her when I did. One of my best anime figure purchases.
This Rei figure was less detailed than I was expecting when I pulled it out of the box, however I do like her alot. There's some minor damage to teh figure on her hand bc my cat chewed on it when I wasn't home, hashtag heartbreaking. She was about $45 and I love the pose on her, referencing the singular scene she wears this white suit in, one of the few scenes that I still think about from the rebuilds(if you know you know). All together, a nice figure for the price I paid.
This is a figure that came in a lot of three that I bought off eBay. Gasha figures of eva are hard to find in the wild in the U.S, so I'm glad to have them. A few of her suit's details are missing like the color on the metal bolts, but it's understandable as she is not a large or expensive figure. I like the energetic posing on this figure a lot, really feels like Asuka.
The second figure that came in a lot I bought off eBay. I adore the posing and face of this figure, very Rei like.
The third figure that came in a lot I bought off eBay. I like her pose as it really utilizes the 3D aspect of anime figures with her head turned to look at you and the twist of her body.
